Unable to upgrade ZFS pool to feature flags, SPA version 5000, on stable/9 @ r243825
....
This isn't a critical system at all, but I guess everyone else will
run into this snag when attempting to upgrade their ZFS pools.
Any clues?

Why does dtrace -h remove const qualifier?
...pilation errors when I call the probe in a C++ context:
"a.cc", line 6: Error: Formal argument 1 of type char* in call to __dtrace_foo___bar(char*) is being passed const char*.
So, is this a bug in dtrace or is there a valid reason for removing the constness in the function prototype...

How can I watch IO operations with dtrace on zfs?
...<none>
203803 4445 R 1351168 131072 diskio <none>
So how can I get the same information from a ZFS file-system?
The reason I''m asking is because I''m trying to see how IO operations behave on the different filesystems.
Any help / pointers would be appreciated.

Properties list for zfs in FreeBSD
Hi:
Where can I find a list of properties (-o/-O property=value) for
creating a zpool?
I meant something like:
#zpool create \
-o ashift=12 \
-0 dedup=off
-O autoexpand=off
-O atime=off \
-O canmount=off \
-O compression=lz4 \
-O normalization=formD \
-O mountpoint=/jail \
tank \
mirror \
/dev/gptid/diskname0 \
/dev/gptid/diskname1 \

Using filegroup for access control within a share
...tgroup "foo".
This works fine with Samba 3.x, but not with Samba 4.x. When setting
owner/group to root/bar on "/test/restricted" and mode=770, access is
denied for all users.
What can I do to make this work with Samba 4.x? Or is this simply not
possible anymore?
Regards,

NFS exporting btrfs subvolumes.
NFS needs a unique identifier for a filesystem to be able to export it.
This can be set by the admin (fsid= in /etc/exports) but that is a hassle
and it is best to set it automatically.
nfs-utils currently uses the UUID returned by libblkid if that works,
or the fsid returned by statfs64 if libblkid finds nothings and
fsid is non-zero. Otherwise it uses device major/minor.

Using non-gcc compilers with install.packages()
....?
NB! Please include me in the CC list, since I'm not a mailinglist
member.
PS. I really like perl's approach to module building. When building
perl modules, it defaults to the same compilers as perl was initially
built with. This seems like a sane approach also for R IMHO.
Cheers,
