cptime/memdisk block size
Is there any documentation available about what block size MEMDISK uses
to load (big iso/harddisk) image files?
Experimenting with cptime.c32 on a Lexar Triton Jumpdrive (64GB, 170MB/s
read in Windows, 150MB/s write in Windows) on bootable USB3.0 resulted
in the following, depending on specified block size:
* 2048 bytes --> 25MB/s
* 2MB --> 61MB/s
It would be nice to know at which speed MEMDISK is loading, but a
stopwatch seems a bit crude as on...

xm->xl migration in Xen 4.2.2
Hi,
One of the I noticed during migration from XM toolchain to XL in PCI
Pass-through was that we used to specify target bdf in HVM guest as
pci = [ ''0000:07:11.6=0@1a'' ]
However with XL, it now seems like this is the correct syntax:
pci = [ ''0000:07:11.6@1a'' ]
Is that correct? I''ve verified that it works but what about zero in

It's /dev/vda in my case:
# fdisk -l /dev/vda
Disk /dev/vda: 21.5 GB, 21474836480 bytes, 41943040 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512

HLS enabled mounts
...direct complaints,
there has been a discussion thread with some of our public radio
colleagues getting complaints about users receiving a repeat of the
intro many times when their device switches from WiFi to LTE or unstable
Internet connections.
One of our colleagues received a response from Triton Digital about
"utilizing your HLS enabled mounts for streaming". I am not familiar
with this technology, could someone here provide more information about
how this could be used with Icecast and how it would help in the case of
unstable Internet connections and/or intros?
Thanks!

How to migrate samba to new box
Dear list,
I have samba 3.0.21 on a fedora 5 box. I would like to migrate the
whole things to a new box which runs CentOS 5.3. Is there any way to
migrate samba verbatim to a new box?
Tried to google but found instruction on how to migrate from Windows
to Samba only.
Thanks in advance.

Does it need to do more checking than that before trying to enable MSI
