Arch Linux and Tripp Lite web snmp card issues.
Thanks for the quick response Charles! I may not have gotten the correct
output from the snmpwalk, let me know if the attachment is usable. Thanks!
New data added, here is the gdb output:

Thanks.
As mentioned, deadtime can't be set for snmp-ups. You see this in the logs.
Mar 31 09:08:30 freenas notifier: Fatal error: 'DEADTIME' is not a valid variable name for this driver.
Mar 31 09:08:30 freenas notifier: Look in the man page or call this driver with -h for a list of valid variable names and flags.

No, it's not.
I'd defer to the list for tips on that one.
First thing I'd try if no one else has ideas is checking lsusb and restarting the service.
Thank you,

Sorry, it's basically all comments. Do you have the stdout from the subdriver script? Also, how is the MIB file installed?

Tripplite SNMPwebcard communication lost and established randomly
Just started using NUT and having a problem. I'm not sure if it is even NUT that is causing the issue.
I'm running the latest FreeNAS 9.3 release.
Network UPS Tools upsmon 2.7.2.
The UPS is a Tripplite SU6000RT4UHVPM with the SNMPwebcard installed.
I'm trying to use the SNMPwebcard, not USB or Serial. I've updated the SNMPwebcard to the latest firmware version (see below).

Glad to hear it's working, thanks Tom.
Network UPS Tools team: is fixing this as simple as me telling you what new UPS protocols are HID-PDC compliant?
Thank you,

David,
Thanks again for your help today. You're amazing.
If the folks on the list could chime in - thoughts about what I could try next?

TrippLite SmartPro UPS and nut-2.0.2
I have a TrippLite SmartPro UP (SMART3000RM2U) that shipped with the DB9

The link lists the SmartPro series as using the cables 73-0724 or 73-0844 and

Tripplite SMX1500XLRT2U through serial
Hello list-
Anyone with Tripplite SMX1500XLRT2U
(http://www.tripplite.com/EN/products/model.cfm?txtModelID=2687)
successfully integrated with NUT through serial port? I'm trying to
connect to SMX1500XLRT2U using serial cable shipped with UPS under
FreeBSD 6.3-STABLE and NUT 2.2.2 installed from ports. Unfortunately,
it looks like it couldn't be recognized.

...these drivers? Is there another driver that's known to work with this UPS or can this one be "tweaked" to work? Can it be as simple as a baud rate mismatch? I'm not having much luck querying the serial port's settings.
In ups.conf I have:
[UPS-0040]
driver = tripplitesu
# driver = tripplite
port = /dev/ttyACM0
desc = "TrippLite SU3000XLCD"
using tripplitesu:
upsdrvctl start

Can anyone help getting a Tripplite SU2200XL to work with nut 2.0.3

I also have Tripplite's PowerAlert 12 software installed and when run it
finds the UPS without a problem. So the cable is connected properly.

Multiple Tripplite OMNI900LCD
...e equipment based on
events monitored by upsmon using upssched. I've configured NUT using
usbhid-ups driver and compiled/installed NUT. I've done some testing and it
seems to work. Unfortunately all the USB ports are on the same bus for the
computers that I could use for this and the TrippLites seem to use the same
serial number. Any way to uniquely identify the UPSs to NUT? Or maybe to
set a value in the UPS that could be used to identify the UPS?
Thanks.
