I have read alittle about PAM but it seems to work only with
encrypted passwords = no. Any help would be greatly
appreciated

Hello,
I'm using Samba3Beta1 and i try to map group.
I create a posix group in my ldap:
dn: cn=Administrateurs du domaine,ou=Groups,dc=middleearth,dc=ring
objectClass: posixGroup
cn: Administrateurs du domaine
memberUid: root
memberUid: administrateur
gidNumber: 1000
And I try to map this group with the nt group : Domain Admins
net groupmap add ntgroup="Domain Admins"

Bad SID under a samba member domain
Hi,
I've got 1 Samba 3.0.0 PDC with ldap server 2.2.4 ( netbios name :
'PDC' and domain name : 'DOMAIN' )
I created all my samba/posix users (~100) under ldap, and the domain is
working well...
I've just added a new Samba 3.0.0 (netbios name : 'FS') in my domain
'DOMAIN' with the net join command , and create some shared folders.
But, when I create a
