I tried this on a Linux (Ubuntu) server invoking R from the command line and the result was the same, except that I could kill the R session from another terminal window. FreeBSD 6 - DirectAdmin - dovecot
Since version 1.0 I experience strange problems with dovecot. At the moment I have beta 7 installed. I use FreeBSD 6.0. * Pop3 works * Imap works, but only when i telnet to localhost * In all other cases I can't connect to the server. Tried with squirrelmail, uebimau and thunderbird. Squirrelmail after a long time waiting: "ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server."

Mbox corruption
I am trying to track down an mbox corruption issue that has been happening for one of our users. It appears that the mbox file is getting truncated and the all important From line no longer exists which then leads to the mbox being useless. It also appears, as in most truncations, that parts of the mbox are being lost. I am not sure how to debug this to find out whether this is a client or

Moving from 0.99 to 1.0-stable
What is involved in migrating from 0.99 to 1-stable? (I'd be creating a FreeBSD port to work with, but the main question I have is what would need to be done to configuration files.) Upgrading from 0.99 to 1.0alpha
Since FreeBSD has decided to drop Dovecot 0.99 and only provide a port for 1.0alpha4, what are the considerations for upgrading from 0.99.14 to 1.0a4? Handling a tiered subscription service
Hi all, I''m working on a project that involves a tiered pricing structure for various features, all of which are accessed via a secure admin area. The features available in each tier, the tier structure and pricing will change over time, so new tier schemes will come into play, requiring feature/pricing schemes to be timestamped. I guess what I''m aiming for is

[PATCH 04/11] x86: cleanup mpparse.c
Remove unused and pointless bits from mpparse.c (and other files where they are related to it). Of what remains, move whatever possible into .init.*, and some data items into .data.read_mostly.
