error witch rsat
I followed this guide: the user who gives permission to the network share is without problems but at the file system level I do not understand the user using the acl. What should I do? reinventing the wheel? page checker
Not sure if there is an app like this yet. I want to keep tabs on my web applications and thought of using a 'page checker'/ I was thinking either running a sum on the directory or each file...but thinking a simple date check would be fine. The idea is web application, except the uploads area for photos, never has changes to its files except when I change it. However, if it gets

controlling VM access to different tap devices
Sorry if this off-topic but I have a qemu related question I was going to send to the qemu users mailing list but that list appears to have vanished. I thought this community might have some insight. I am interested in controlling VM access to different tap devices so I want to have different qemu processes bound to different tun devices. I've created new tun devices (eg. /dev/net/tun_low)

Custom Type & Provider - param not working
I have created a custom type and provider. I wanted to go back and add in a little more functionality so I wanted to give it a new parameter. So where I declare the type I added newparam(:recurse) do newvalues(:true, :false) defaultto :false end No matter what I set the param to in my pp file accessing this param using @resource[:recurse] it is always nil. I have tried not doing any

Windows 7 RC1 Build 7100 Cannot Connect to Samba Shares w/Winbind
I'm doing some testing with Win7 RC1 and I'm having an identical problem with two CentOS servers (5.2 and 5.3) both running Samba 3.0.33 where I cannot authenticate. Both servers are authenticating with Winbind to an AD DC. I have a third CentOS 5.2 server with Samba 3.0.33 shares that does not use Winbind which has no problems. This pops up in smbd.log: (.200 is wireless and .184 is my
