Problem with expire plugin and expunge
Hello, I am running dovecot 2.0.9 with expire plugin, using the sqlite backend. The following command is executed every day by cron: doveadm expunge -A mailbox Trash savedbefore 30d I started to use the expire plugin about one month ago. Since then, using "doveadm search -A mailbox Trash savedbefore <days>" with different values for <days>, I could see every day how

dovecot-1.0.rc15 with quota-rewrite on FreeBSD
Hello, I tried to compile dovecot rc15 from the sources with the quota-rewrite patch (http://dovecot.org/patches/1.0/quota-rewrite.diff) on FreeBSD 6.1, but the compilation stop with the following errors. I am not very good in coding, so if you could fix the patch for FreeBSD it will be great. Making all in trash if /usr/local/bin/bash ../../../libtool --tag=CC --mode=compile gcc

Does indeed sound bit strange, will have to try replicate this to see what happens. SV: Marking all emails in "Trash" as opened, and also prohibiting email clients from creating new ma
I tried with following: require ["imap4flags"]; if not hasflag :is "\\Seen" { setflag "\\Seen"; } And then this in plugins.conf: plugin { sieve_plugins = sieve_imapsieve imapsieve_mailbox1_name = Trash imapsieve_mailbox1_before = file:/etc/dovecot/sieve/trash.sieve } It works in outlook, the mail is opened (mark as read) when it goes to trash. trash plugin not doing it's job
I enabled the trash plugin yesterday, adding "trash" to mail_plugins, and configuring the plugin setting "trash = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-trash.conf.ext". But I still see users with lots of files in INBOX.Trash getting bounced because of quota exceeded: postfix/lmtp[26273]:: C89F490061: to=<XXXXXXXXXXXXX at example.no>, relay=loadbalancers.example.net[192.168.42.15]:24,

Marking all emails in "Trash" as opened, and also prohibiting email clients from creating new mails
Dovecot version: 2.3.7.2 (3c910f64b) (pkg shipped by: Ubuntu-Desktop 20.04) I want to accomplish 2 things in dovecot: 1: I want to force all mails inside Trash to have an "opened"/"read" flag and "Non-Recent" flag. Basically Status: RO This regardless how the flag appears, either by copying/moving the mail into trash, creating a new mail in trash, flagging email in

Move deleted to trash
Is there a way to have messages marked to be deleted move to the trash folder automatically? I have moved from courier-imap (which dovecot performs muck better) but the one feature I really need is move to trash. Is there any plugins available for this?

Mark message as read when moved to Trash
Hi all, When I send a message to trash, without previously reading it (just with the subject is enough to say I do not want to read it), it remains as "unread". Then, clients (I am using Kmail) report there are unread message, when all of them are in Trash. The question, then is: Is there any way to automatically mark a message as read, when that message is moved to Trash? Thank you!

expire plugin + --exec-mail in 1.2.6 version
Hello list, After upgrade to dovecot version 1.2.6 I have noticed some quota malfunctions(users become often overquota). Looking at logs closely I have found that quota value resets to general dovecot-config( quota = maildir:Mailbox quota quota_rule = *:storage=500M quota_rule2 = Trash:storage=10%% ), after dovecot --exec-mail ext /usr/libexec/dovecot/expire-tool.sh command.
