Hi How do i set up so that everyone can dial, for example *21* to forward all calls to a cellphone or another extension and how do I enable so that cals can be transferd between extentions. I use asterisk 1.6 and have my phones in unistim.conf and my extensions in extensions.conf. Hi List; I need to do a call transfer using analoge phone connected to fxs, but I do not need this to be done using flash hook, let it to be using the # or * or any code, but how I can configure that this code is for transfer? Also, I do not need the flast hook to be used for trasfer as it cause usually a confusion to distinguish between the hangup and the call transfer. Any advise? Regards Bilal

While on conversation with another party, I dial the atxfer key sequence. Asterisk says "Transfer" then gives you a dial tone, while put the other party on hold music. I dial the transferee number and talk with the transferee, then I hang up and the other party must be connected with the transferee. But this doesn't work the transferee hears a beep. -- Playing 'beep'

I have this problem. Samba server version 2.2.3a Server Hp 9000 - HP-UX 11.11. Clients W98. Server is used as file-server (config file smb.conf with no particulry changes-I have keeped originally hp-configuration) . I have created personal directory-one for PC-client where I have trasferred file Outlook.pst (OUTLOOK 2000). Casauly file Outlook.pst crashed and I must reload it with Win-prog. scnpst.exe. I'have tried also with oplook=no ..ecc. but problem remains. Into all directories I have many other files (doc,xls ecc..) but only Outlook.pst is corrupted !! Best regards n.fa...

-q seems to override -v completely, but when combined with --progress, a single newline is output when there are no updates transferred; but if a file *was* updated nothing at all is output. I'm using asterisk blind/attended transfer feature on a queue (also tried with sip phones feature), and both type of transfers work fine. The problem is that attended trasfers doesn't get logged to queue_log, but blind transfers are logged just fine. Hi, I have a typical call center with queues and agents added via AddQueueMember. One of my requirement is to implement a forgot password function. If a caller does not remember the password, he calls up an unauthenticated line and the agent manually authenticates him. Then the caller should have a provision to reset his password.
