Voicemail to email transcribed
I have seen lots of companies offering this as a service and have used phonetag.com in the past. They work very nicely, however I have a customer that is not interested in paying $30-$40 a month but would rather buy the software. I have googled and googled all I can come up with are companies that do it as hosted. Does anyone on the list know of software that can transcribe an email/voicemail

finding most highly transcribed genes - ranking, sorting and subsets?
Hello, I am not only interested in finding out which genes are the most highly up- or down-regulated (which I have done using the linear models and Bayesian statistics in Limma), but I also want to know which genes are consistently highly transcribed (ie. they have a high intensity in the channel of interest eg. Cy5 or Cy3 across the set of experiments). I might have missed a straight forward way to do this, or a valuable function, but I've been using my own methods and going around in circles. So far I've normalized within and bet...

Simple speech recognition for driving IVR - "press or say one".
Briefly: I want to be able to have "press or say (number)", with Asterisk listening for a spoken number, but accepting a DTMF digit, too. I'm posting everything I found so far, here, partly to show working, but also in case anyone else finds it useful. So, moving on.... This looked hopeful for a moment until I realised that it doesn't do DTMF:

OT: Anyone Using a Time Logger?
I have multiple projects and it''s important for me to track time by client and by project. There''s a Windows application that allows me to do this, but I''m looking for a cross-platform solution. I looked at ConsultComm but it wouldn''t install on my Mac. Rather than rewriting what seems like a commonly-required app, I wondered if anyone else had something they

Table Relationships Problems.
I have the following tables setup: locations :id :name systemmessages :id :name systemmessage_validtimes :id :name :systemmessage_id :location_id :start :end The systemmessage_validtimes has a ''has_many'' relationship with systemmessages, meaning that there could be many valid times for each system message. @systemMessage = Systemmessage.find(1) E.g. Voicemail to Text Transcription(was: Re: [asterisk-dev] Voicemailto text translation)
(This subthread is more appropriate to -users than to -dev, so it is crossposted only to mark its transition. Please reply on the -user list only.) What are the cheapest prices for (humans) transcribing voicemail to text as a service? The absolute cheapest, regardless of (known) quality - the quality only has to compete with (cheaper) automated transcription, which is abysmal quality. On Wed,

Operand bundles and gc transition arguments
As part of adding `"deopt"` operand bundles, we're aiming to change RewriteStatepointsForGC (called RS4GC henceforth) from rewriting existing `gc.statepoint` calls to transforming normal LLVM calls and invokes into `gc.statepoint` calls and invokes (i.e. to do PlaceSafepoints + RS4GC in one step). This will make `gc.statepoint` an artifact of the gc lowering strategy that only

How to Modify Message and add more Attachments
Hello Everyone, I am working on a product in which we are planning to store voice messages in Dovecot sent by a user to another user. The message would be stored as an email with .wav attachment. Once the Voice message is received, it may get Transcribed. The message can be further be processed and more information can be added to the message later. The original plan was to Modify the email and add New information as attachments to same message. As I understood, messages stored in Dovecot are immutable. What is the best option to achieve this func...

IRBuilder Assignment ( '=' ) operator?
...various LH-RH operators, ADD, ADDF, > SUB, etc, using CreateAdd, CreateFAdd, etc, however I cant seem to locate > the correct function/s for the assignment operator. The assignment is automatic. The pointer you get back from CreateAdd can be used directly in other instructions. When this is transcribed to the textual IR, LLVM will put in the appropriate assignments (so it won't try to assign a store to anything for example, because it doesn't produce a value that can be used elsewhere). The Name parameter you pass to CreateAdd determines what variable will be assigned, otherwise an incre...

kernel panic caused by zfs/sa.c
Hello, I'm experiencing a kernel panic that appears to be caused by zfs. No errors are making it into /var/log/messages, but here is the error message that appears on my screen after panic (transcribed): panic solaris assert BSWAP_32(sa_hdr_phys->sa_magic) == SA_MAGIC, file: /src/sys/modules/zfs/../../cddl/contrib/opensolaris/uts/common/fs/zfs/sa.c, line 1262 I can reproduce this by running "cd /usr/ports/www/webkit-ghtk2; make clean" I looked at line 1262 in sa.c and it's par...

Beginners Question: Make nlm work
Hello, I'm new to this and am trying to teach myself some R by plotting biological data. The growth curve in question is supposed to be fitted to the Verhulst equation, which may be transcribed as follows: f(x)=a/(1+((a-0.008)/0.008)*exp(-(b*x))) - for a known population density (0.008) at t(0). I am trying to rework the example from "An Introduction to R" (p. 72) for my case and am failing miserably. Could somebody glance over the code below and nudge me into the right directi...

help me!
Would you help me to answer this question, please? /r/ is one of the most difficult English sounds to acquire and imitate. Describe in what ways it is different from our Spanish rolls (perro) and taps (pero). How does the pronunciation of this sound vary according to the context? Find at least three examples of linking r and intrusive r and transcribe into phonetics. When do we use them?

hot keys
...to install hot keys. Probably this isn't surprising, so what I am really looking for is advice on how to work around it. In more detail, the software tries to register hot keys to pause and unpause audio playback (typically, the audio is an MP3 file of something like a meeting that needs to be transcribed). These hot keys would be useful (rather than pitching Express Scribe in favour of moc or xmms) because, for example, the pause is configurable to quietly go back, say three seconds. I have been struggling with KDE's khotkeys, so far with frustrating results (it seems that an inactive Scribe...
