buildinstall cannot find modules
...for many kernel modules. I notice that the filename it says it is unpacking ends with .x86_64.rpm.x86_64. Is that normal? I google'd and found someone else saying theirs did the same thing. Could this be related to why I'm not ending up with an initrd being installed? -- Tracy Reed http://tracyreed.org -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... buildinstall problems
...normally ships with the build proceeds without error. No missing bin and no selinux error. So I must be missing an rpm. But I'm not sure which one and I need to get this paired down to a single CD so I can't just dump them all in. Thanks for any help you can provide! -- Tracy Reed http://tracyreed.org -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... why does btrfs pronounce "butter-eff-ess"?
As far as I know, btrfs comes from "btree file system", but why does btrfs pronounce "butter-eff-ess"? -- Wang Shaoyan -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-btrfs" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html

really large file systems with centos
I've been asked for ideas on building a rather large archival storage system for inhouse use, on the order of 100-400TB. Probably using CentOS 6. The existing system this would replace is using Solaris 10 and ZFS, but I want to explore using Linux instead. We have our own tomcat based archiving software that would run on this storage server, along with NFS client and server. Its a
