Open Source Billing Software
I know that this has been a hot topic in the past, and that there are a number of views about the overall suitability of RADIUS, which billing methodology is best, what is the meaning of life and such... What I would like to know is has anyone found an open-source billing platform that performs basic billing functionality (pre/post) from RADIUS and/or Asterisk CDR and is written

Trouble: Time Difference with difftime
Hello all!!! I want to measure the duration of events (given a start and an end time). The catch is that I require the output in calender days. This means: 02-Jan-2011 00:01:00 minus 01-Jan-2011 23:59:00 should be 1 day (although the real time difference is only 2 minutes) My data is the following head(episode.ct) [1] "2009-07-13 13:37:20 CEST" "2009-07-14 07:29:20 CEST"

Call Detail Record Analysis Packages?
Can anyone share any links regarding packages to do Call Detail Record (CDR) analysis from the CDR Master file? Login-distance reconciliation, billback, and data presentation are three primary areas of interest. Thanks in advance for your help! --Nick -- Nick Eggleston Consultant Data Communications Consulting, Inc. 6320 Rucker Road, Suite E Indianapolis, IN 46220 317/726-0295 x18

Rating application for Asterisk
Does anyone knows a working FOSS rating application for Asterisk? I tried CDRTool, but since it's free for non commercial use, it won't suit me. Also I gave a shot at Trabas (the one everybody says it sucks), but I couldn't understand how does it pull records from Asterisk's CDR table. The rate-engine addon (http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+addon+rate-engine) seems to be suitable for doing "cost based routing of a call and set call t...

Billing, Radius, anyone?
Hi All, I found app_radius and cdr_radius, but I'm not sure how to use them. They are poorly documented. There are a few open source billing systems (trabas) out there that use radius as the cdr method and I'm wondering how this can be integrated with *. Just adding cdr_radius, like cdr_mysql doesn't work.. Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone know of a billing system that can just use the mysql cdr format? or perhaps import scripts to use it?...

asterisk and radius?
Hi all, I have been looking at some billing solutions for asterisk. I saw there is Trabas VoIP Billing which apparently is working through radius cdr records, and also astPP which was recently released, and CDRTool. Has anyone been able to succeffully use radius with asterisk for CDR records? I tried app_radius with freerdius according to the wiki docs, but the Radius(CPP) keeps pla...

Asterisk Billing Plataforms
Hi, before you start throwing shoes to me, i know there are a lot of Asterisk Billing plataforms, but actually no one seems to accomplish what i need. They are to complex (a2billing) or doesn't have too much documentation (astbill and mcc) or are poorly developed (trabas). What i was looking for is a simple Asterisk billing plataform (with web based admin and customer interface) that only calculates the time of a call and the cost. For example let's suppose that a local extension calls to a UK number. What i need to know is the duration, and the total money s...

Dear R help gurus, I have the following problem and I would be delighted if you could help me. >From a large (1500) cohort of patients we have been taking some measurements (ECG measurements, but its not important).
