AMI interface problem
....0.3-rc1 and it stopped. Looks like a problem in the software to me. Following the same steps using the same code for the AMI and conf files for * I get bad behavior in 1.6.0.3-rc1 and good behavior in 1.6.0.1. I have this action: Action: Originate Channel: SIP/GXP280-18 Application: queue data: tqe ActionID: callandqueue Callerid: 1111122222 Async: true And I get this response: ---->Response: Error ---->ActionID: callandqueue ---->Message: Channel not specified Is anyone else seeing anything like this? -- Jim Dickenson mailto:dickenson at cfmc.com CfMC http://www.cfmc.com/

Scope of variable
...fMC_AMDValue = MACHINE") I am not sure why in the same extension it is setting two different variables named CfMC_AMDValue. This then causes the following problem. UserEvent("IAX2/sfserver3-16384", "E1322-1|callE1321=IAX2/sfserver3-16384 & IAX2/sfserver3/915419712512 & tqe & 1001 & NotChecked") I do not want to set global variables as if I use this extension twice at the same time there would be a conflict. What is the correct way to handle this. This is while running Asterisk 1.4.23 -- Jim Dickenson mailto:dickenson at cfmc.com CfMC http://www.cfmc....

Multiple Channel Variables with AMI Originate
Hi guys I seem to be having a problem, I don't know if it's a bug or whether I'm just doing it incorrectly. I want to set about 3 channel variables when I originate a call via AMI. All the documentation I have found says to do it like this: Variable: variable1=value|variable2=value|variable3=value However when I do this it runs them all together and I end up with:

gzip compression throttles system?
I just had a quick play with gzip compression on a filesystem and the result was the machine grinding to a halt while copying some large (.wav) files to it from another filesystem in the same pool. The system became very unresponsive, taking several seconds to echo keystrokes. The box is a maxed out AMD QuadFX, so it should have plenty of grunt for this. Comments? Ian

6.4-PRELEASE sporadically panicking with fatal trap 12
Hello, I'm running 6.4-PRELEASE, last built on 2008-10-05 with /usr/src updated on the same day. I had a panic that looks to me very similiar to the one described here (hence the subject): http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2008-September/045405.html What caught my curiosity is the message: Unread portion of the kernel message buffer: acd0: WARNING - TEST_UNIT_READY read
