C5 : Deleting un-deletable files ?

Looking for a good way to manage passwords for CRAM-MD5
...ecause they seem like a more cumbersome way to do the same thing as passwd files. But I am aware that this assumption could be wrong. It could e.g. be easier to make the web interface idea work with a database manager, than messing around with setuid bits to safely update a passwd file owned and touchable only by the dovecot user. Basic subscribe-loading-unsubscribe button
(This is a beginners'' question) I can''t seem to find this in the wiki or in the list archives. Button says "subscribe". User clicks. Button says "loading". Then button says "unsubscribe". SELinux blocking cgi script from "writing to socket (httpd_t)"
Is this really supposed to get easier over time? :) Now my audit.log file shows that SELinux is blocking my cgi script, index.cgi (which is what's actually served when the user visits the front page of one of our proxy sites like sugarsurfer.com) from having '"read write" to socket (httpd_t)'.
