want to write a difference copy program to sync two VHDs in blktap
...not get required info about adding a sha1 sign of data block while writing it. Similar to ZFS this can be used to verify file integrity ? May be if someone can guide me about how to inject data while writing it in data block of VHD. Hello List, Merry Christmas to all !! Basically I''m trying to boot a Windows 2008R2 DC HVM with 90GB static max memory and 32GB static min. The node config is Dell M610 with X5660 and 96GB RAM and its running XCP 1.1 Many times the node crashes while booting HVM. Sometimes I get success. Xenstore data not getting updated in running VM
Hello List, I''m not able to fetch correct xenstore data in guest. If I reboot the guest then it loads with latest xenstore data but if I change the content of xenstore data while the VM is running then the data does not reflect in guest. Is this normal or am I missing anything ? Note: XCP version 1 and guest tools are installed. - RJ

CentOS 6.X balloon issue [ XCP 1.5 / CentOS6 Bug ]
Hello List, On XCP1.5 ballooning of CentOS6.X does not work correctly. The DomU can be ballooned up only till its start_target_mem and seems to disobey the static max. For e.g If I start a CentOS6 DomU with 4GB RAM then ballooning works fine between 256MB to 4GB but it cant go beyond 4GB though it has static max as 16GB. I can confirm same issue on XCP1.1, so it might be something only with

Hello List, I am testing a XCP1 CentOS 5 paravirt vm with CloudLinux. http://cloudlinux.com/ CloudLinux is a great product for shared hosting and I was evaluation same on a paravirt guest. I found a strange thing in XCP. CloudLinux provides xen kernel for DomUs and after installing the CloudLinux in a DomU it actually got 32 cpus inside. I had assigned only 2 vCPU to that DomU.
