Re: Toronto
It looks like this meetup group is becoming the venue for contact as
most "Toronto" respondents have signed up here. Can I request that the
remainder who responded to the "Toronto" call signup?
Shidan is the organizer and has proposed a date. I'd hate to confirm it
without the remainder having input - especially those with travel times
like Andrew K. out in Li...

Can't get off Europe/Bucharest timezone
Hello Everyone,
The timezone is set correctly on the OS America/Toronto:
mv /etc/localtime /etc/localtime.bak
cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Toronto /etc/localtime
I even tried adding the timezone setting to sip.conf:
timezone=America/Toronto
However. Asterisk wants to be in Bucharest? Thinking
about it, I want to be in Bucharest!
Cheers,
Nick.

IPSEC, multiple subnets and multiple road warriors, oh my! :)
...been using Shorewall 1.42 for a month on two firewalls at work and
my own personal colocated server and love it. While pretty familiar
with iptables, I don''t like dealing with it on a daily basis, and
Shorewall certainly makes life easier. I''ve deployed Shorewall on both
our Toronto and Ottawa office firewalls, and have configured a
FreeS/WAN IPSEC VPN between them, and all works quite nicely.
The next phase of the project involves granting access to both the
Toronto and Ottawa networks to roadwarriors with IPSEC clients. This
is where I''ve become a bit confused....

prefer someone local (1-2 hours away maybe) to the Toronto, Canada area.
I don't mind hearing from other areas as I haven't completely ruled
out a 100% remote team-up if I can't find the local help or can be
convinced tools for colaboration work well.
