2.2.9pre1 cvs - home shares not visible?

the users are not visible anymore (access is granted).
Switching back to 2.2.8a with the same smb.conf and all is fine.
Client is WinXPPro.

Both systems have installed all available ms updates and patches. Both systems are german versions.
Is this a samba are windows bug?

Problem with rpcclient command
Hi,
I am trying to query a W2K PDC for info on a print driver by issuing the
following command:
rpcclient -Uxxx%yyy -d 3 -c 'getdriver "HP LaserJet 8000 Series PS"' abert
The response I get is:

2.2.3a - buggy homedir mapping with profiles for 9x/winxp

looks like you specified \\%L\%U for "logon home".
Did anybody test this? What is so completely different between
logon home = \\%N\%U\profile_9x_me
and
logon home = \\%L\%U\.profiles
?
