indexing source code
Hi again,
I''m using ferret to index source code - DamageControl will allow users
to search for text in source code.
Currently I''m using the default index with no custom analyzer (I''m
using the StandardAnalyzer). Do you have any recommendations about how
to write an analyzer that will index source code in a more ''optimal''

Query question
I have an index in which I want different records to be accessible to
different users. I think I can do this by adding a "users" field to
each record in the index and narrow down my queries to only those
records matching the current user''s userid. I have the userids
separated by commas. What would be the right way to query for a

Hi all
This week I have worked with Rails and Ferret to test Ferrets (and Lucenes)
capabilities. I decided to make a mixin for ActiveRecord as it seemed the
simplest possible solution and I ended up making this into a plugin.

The plugin is functional but could easily be refined. Anyway I want to share it
