Thanks. I agree that time selection text is problematic, each
workstation should (and does, as far as I understand it) talk to it's
local DC for time.
I also agree that the DCs should be tied togeather for time, but a
strict hierarchy could also have problems in that if that DC goes down,
time could drift apart.
One challenge is that because neither ntpd from ntp.org nor chrony
support any authenticated time protocol as a client, the major
advantage to DCs talking to DCs for time is lost. It...

This is a good question. I cannot answer that. I don't
control OpenSSH.

smbspool
Hi,
We have unified logons on Linux and Windows clients by
using a Windows 2000 AD domain with
pam_winbind/nss_winbind on linux clients, the problem
is, smbclient and smbspool still require us to enter a
password instead of using the logged on users
credentials. Is there anyway to pam-enable smbclient
and smbspool?

[LLVMdev] ADDE on HW that doesn't have flags?
Thanks very much for your help.
I didn't quite understand how adde really uses flags in, say x86 or
any of the other architectures I looked at.
It seemed to declare it used EFLAGS, but little else: like how would
you feed a zero in for the carry.
Or I suppose you would have to start such a sequence off with an addc,
and I happened to hit the adde (and it bailed) first (because the

Asterisk Users Mailing List Traffic
The volume/traffic on this list has been getting pretty heavy. I find
it hard to follow certain discussions and there are some that I am not
interested in. Perhaps, we could split the list into two: One for
discussing hardware (client phones and cards) and one for the software
(configuration, problems, etc...) Or some other better scheme that
someone can propose.

Instead what I got was a situation where none of my Win2K machines could
connect for about 10 min after booting. The error message was something to
the tune of "The semaphore timeout has expired". After 10 min I was allowed
access (sometimes).
Once I removed the line all togeather, everything started working great.
The man pages for hosts allow make it seem pretty simple. . what am I (we)
missing?
TIA!
