altering prefix to multiple variables in different locations within a command file

variables in typical commands follow.
It is simple to use search & replace for common variables such as
"group" but I would appreciate advice about whether there is a way
to readily alter the remaining variables.

How to setup both Transpaent Proxy and firewall on the same Machine.
...es -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT
--to-port 3128
But, When I browse Internet , request will not get ridirected to 3128 port.
So I can not use squid as a Transpaent Proxy.
Where have I gone wrong?
