Creating a Streaming Server
...eing streamed will be generated dynamically
using libGL. I have the pixel data for each frame of the libGL
rendered image available to me, so really I am looking for an example
that will let me take raw RGB pixel data, convert it to an Ogg stream
and send it to users over HTTP.

NFSv4 on CentOS 5.5
...d
Macintosh systems, and the flags that have to get added to automount
maps (which we distribute centrally through LDAP) are different for
each OS. So, I'd prefer to specify the local machine options in
/etc/sysconfig/autofs rather than in the global automount map.
Thanks!

CentOS 5.3 / OpenLDAP / back_perl
...was wondering if there is any momentum to get OpenLDAP's back_perl feature installed into the CentOS Yum repository. If this isn't the right mailing list for such a request, could someone point me in the correct direction?
Thanks!

autofs and LDAP automount maps
...However, the
CentOS 5.x boxes are still defaulting to NFSv3 instead.
Looking in /etc/sysconfig/autofs, I see a setting for "OPTIONS", but
I'm not sure if those are mount options or what.
Is there any way to cause CentOS 5.x to default to NFSv4 when using autofs?

sftp with a user defined shell
Hi,
I have a different behavior using sftp compared to ftp for a user with a
user defined shell on a solaris machine.
ftp rejects any user having a user defined shell.
sftp is allowing the user with user defined shell, unfortunately as the
sftp client bails out saying the following message:
"Received message too long 537548147"
Is it because the user shell, outputting lot of text?

Architectural questions
Greetings,
I have some architectural questions regarding dovecot, and though I've half
answered them by looking at the source, I'm also interested in hearing
whether my (our) wishes and suggestions are already being considered (or can
be considered, once built) for inclusion in dovecot itself.
Let me first explain why I'm doing this. I work for XS4ALL, a fairly large
