Mapped Drive
I am having trouble running rsync over a mapped drive. Basically it only copies whole files. I use the -rvcS switches. Any suggestions? documentation bug for --daemon "use chroot" in conjunction with -o and -g
Hi all, Tripped over a documentation bug. I'm guessing the behavior I've found isn't a bug in itself as it's kind of implied by chroot (unless the /etc/passwd db is read *before* you do the chroot call), so I'm calling it a documentation bug. The Setup: System A: running rsync --daemon from xinetd, configured with a read-only share. System B: syncing a local directory

rails behind multiple proxies
I submitted a patch to fix a problem I have experienced when multiple proxies are in between the rails process and the browser. http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/3397 This problem has come up because I have a few rails application on an intranet where I have to use proxies to provide access to some clients. I have done little work with this sort of thing before so I was hoping to get more input
