derivative of atan(x) and similar functions
Dear R experts. 'D()' function recognizes some of the analitical functions, such as sin, cos, etc. But I'd like to take analytical derivatives from asin, atan etc. functions. Are there any R packages providing that features? Thanks. -- Timur.

Timur did submit a lot of patches upstream, so there should be less needed.  The Samba Team strongly encourages those packaging Samba not to maintain local patches, and if they must do so only after the patches have been submitted and accepted upstream for master.  This helps reduce the divergence and m...

'format' problem
Dear R experts, format(12345678, digits = 2) gives [1] "1.2e+07" while format(1234567, digits = 2) gives [1] "1234567" but I'd like the last number to be represented as "1.2e+06" string too. Where am I wrong? Thanks, Timur.

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Handling SRet on Windows x86
Hi Timur, I myself find the name "Win32" pretty confusing and easy to misuse (especially for someone who assumes that windows == msvc). After all mingw and cygwin is also win32. Maybe we should rename it into isTargetMSVC or something like this? On Wed, Mar 27, 2013 at 6:26 AM, Timur Iskhodzhano...

Hi again timur
I am completely frustrated at this point. The following is not meant against you personally, but I'm the ONLY I.T. person for 100 users in 6 different offices, and I don't know what to do at this point but beg. I finally figured out what Heimdal is, and I believe is the main problem. Installed 5.2.1 on a machine. Installed krb5 from ports. Changed make.conf adding

R code debugging

3.0.23b -> 3.0.23c
I portupgraded my working 3.0.23b PDC on FreeBSD 5.5 to 3.0.23c and found that all workstations could not login. The log file reads: get_md4pw: Workstation PC01$: no account in domain I ran pdbedit -L, and it returned nothing. I use tdbsam backend; all user accounts show up fine with 3.0.23b. Now they are missing. I deinstalled 3.0.23c and switched back to 3.0.23b. Everything is then back

[LLVMdev] Adding line table debug information to LLVM on Windows
Hi Timur, There's also a pending patch adding CodeView support in Phab: http://llvm-reviews.chandlerc.com/D165 Does your patch provide just a subset of the CodeView debug info provided in the other patch?
