Hello i am trying for a few days to generate the file libnss_winbind.so under AIX 5.3 but i do not get it. I have set up a samba (3.0.22) as PDC on Suse and can actually login into the linux machine from windows (My Network Places) and sambstatus shows me as an active user. But when I try to add the domain to the windows machine it fails and says "the specified domain either doesn't exist or could not be contacted". What does samba look for when a user trys to add a computer to the domain? I have tried everything I can think of. Putting the user in different groups, set the users primary group to different groups. Nothing has come of this.
