R on a ma c
Hello,
Is R very compatible with a Mac? A colleague of mine indicated that
everyone he knows with a Mac has problems with R.
What can you tell me about using R with a Mac. What do I need to download?
I have downloaded the basic R package.
Thanks,

Is there a gem or something for working directly with Subversion from a RoR

RoR & Lightbox
Has anybody else had a problem with using Lightbox in their RoR apps? I
include all the necessary files in application.rhtml and then attempt to use
the Lightbox functionality in pages and such. Nothing happens except that a
new page opens up with the link to the image I was attempting to show with
Lightbox. I''ve even gone so far as to strip out everything except the
necessary

Database relationships
Hi everybody,
Does anyone have any good resources on completely understanding database
relationships in general (not necessarily Rails-specific)?
Thanks,

pie3D labelpos
Hello,
I'm trying to make a 3D pie chart, but my labels are overlapping. I see
that labelpos could offer a solution to this, but I have been unable to
find any code snippets that indicate what type of value this argument
requires. Any guidance would be appreciated!
thank you,
Tiffany

changing font size for y-axis factor labels
I am trying to reduce the font size for y-axis labels, not ylab, but the
actual categorical names. I have tried cex, cex.axis, cex.lab, font,
but none seem to do the trick. Any ideas? thank you.

AWDR Edition 2 Gripe
Maybe it''s just me.. But the cover is hideous. I love the first edition
cover, it seems to fit perfectly.
The new "hip" cover is a bad choice, in my opinion. Comments?
