a script and then I have to copy the new version over all my directories to
overwrite the old scripts. So, it is better to have a script height.r:

FBSD 9.2 RC crashes running as virtualbox host
Hi,
after updating my freebsd amd64 box from 9.1 (r250841) to 9.2-RC
(r254276) virtualbox crashes the machine. Seconds after starting VBOX
the screen freezes and then reboots (probably a trap, cannot see it, as
screen is in graphics mode). The kernel modules of vbox have been
recompiled.
Going back to 9.1 kernel and matching vbox modules works.
In both cases VBOX 4.2.16 is used.

array code issue ?
...onally like to use).
I know, it is unlikely that 'array->buffer->used / array->element_size'
exceeds 32bit range. But then, dovecot's source is so well written, that the
above code seems to disturb dovecot's code aesthetics.
And who knows... in a few years (when we have THz and TBytes on our desktops)
emails (and array sizes) might exceed everything that we think of today.

Ussing assign
Hi there,
Imagine I want to use a variable created with assign,but automatically. I have an issue with that. What I do is:
#create in a loop the variables
for(i in 1:5){
assign(paste0("variable",i),data.frame(x=rnorm(100),y=rnorm(100))
}
Now, if I want to do create the five models, I do not know how to set this created data.frames
I have tried:
for (i in 1:5){

maximum likelihood estimation of 5 parameters
Hi Guys, it would be great if you could help me with a MLE problem in R.
I am trying to evaluate the maximum likelihood estimates of theta = (a1,
b1, a2, b2, P) which defines a mixture of a Poisson distribution and two
gamma prior distributions (where the Poisson means have a gamma
distribution, actually 2 gammas and P is the mixing factor). The likelihood
function for theta is L(theta) = Pi,j{P

Comparing pooled proportions(complication and reoperation rates) of different treatment modalities
Dear sir/madame,
I am currently writing a meta-analysis on the complication and reoperation rates of 5 different treatment modalities after a distal radius fracture. I was able to pool the rates of the 5 different rates using R. Now I have to compare the pooled rates of the 4 treatment modalities with the golden standard separately. I though the chi squared test would be the best method. How do
