hello i hope i am posting to the right list, i am a totally blind user, and i want to reprogram my aastra pt 480e phone, my friend used the web configurator, but i think he programmed thw wrong codes, a few questions, is it possible to damage the phone by programming it wrong? also, how does one reset it literally to factory defaults? as unplugging it and replugging it back into the wall didn't work. regards a happy aastra user.

...lar server at this time, was it to function as a WINS server for our company. I went ahead and did the basics, as setting the netbios name as well as saying 'yes' to wins support. However, I cannot tell if it is working correctly. The reason I say this is that, I have not changed any of thw Windows 2000 desktop machines to point to the WINS server in their TCP/IP properties. So im trying to figure out what could be wrong, if anything and how to figure out if it is working correctly. Any ideas on what I could be missing? I appreciate it. Jason

...s have always had, plus a WIFI connection to give it a presence on the WIFI (The WIFI and LAN are on separate VLANS) I have finally dragged myself into the 21st century and used NetworkManager for the connection, using nmtui to do the work. The problem I have is that on most of these servers, thw WIFI connection doesn't always activate on bootup and I have to go into nmtui -> activate -> WIFI etc. to get it working again. Is there a way to force NetworkManager to always activate all interfaces on bootup?

I think this would help speed up the acceptance of Vorbis since people could just make their own audio CDs from it. Is anyone working on this?
