Need help in waveslim package: imodwt and universal.thresh.modwt
...e some ideas:
Starting with
modwt.la8 <- modwt(xdata, "la8", n.level=6) <-- this seems to work fine
(1) ydata <- imodwt(modwt.la8)
will always give ydata as numeric(0) (no values) instead of being a time series data with the same lenght as xdata.
(2) thred.la8 <- universal.thresh.modwt(modwt.la8, max.level=4, hard=F) will give me error at:
abs(wc.fine) - cannot contain non-numeric field.
Any help is much appreciated.
Regards

I already tried to replace
scardLogin=1.3.6.1.4.1.311.20.2.2
with
msSmartcardLogin=1.3.6.1.4.1.311.20.2.2
as I found in the thred but it doesn't solve my issue.
I can post in SSL forum but as it is Samba specific, I'm trying here first
as I guess I'm missing something basic ?
Please note that I do not intend to use smartcard, but ONLY certificate, if
it can help
Thanks !

Well, this is exactly what Contribute was designed for... a remote CMS
for largely static content web sites for non-technical people

scheduling differences between CentOS 4 and CentOS 5?
We have several latency-sensitive "pipeline"-style programs that have
a measurable performance degredation when run on CentOS 5.x versus
CentOS 4.x.
By "pipeline" program, I mean one that has multiple threads. The
mutiple threads work on shared data. Between each thread, there is a
queue. So thread A gets data, pushes into Qab, thread B pulls from
Qab, does some processing,

Is it possible to reach “consensus” on such issues?

At some point there will be a need to acknowl...

[RFC] One or many git repositories?
Hi Justin,
Firstly I really appreciate you taking the mantle and pushing this forward!
Like Justin B I'll be bowing out after this.
I thought it important because I don't believe you'll build consensus in
this thread. I think the best that can be hoped for is opposition to give
up fighting; advantages are to be had on both sides by different types of
user and we've seen that many

Maybe we can hit the pause button on this issue of a survey vs
consensus-building. I think it's a distraction from the main issue
here, and it makes it harder for everyone else to participate in the
thread.
That said, I really do think that perspectives like Justin B's below
are important. That is, if people have a problem with the monorepo,
it is useful they can join the thread and say

SAS and R on multiple operating systems
Hi,
This is not meant to be critical of R, but is intended as
a possible source for improvements to R.
SAS needs the competition.
I am reasonably knowledgeable about
R
SAS-(all products including IML)
SAS and R run on
Windows(all flavors)
UNIX(all flavors)
Apple OSs
Does R run on natively (no emulation)?
We have quite a few users on these systems
VAX-VMS
Z-OS (mainframe)
MVS
VM/CMS(IBM)
