HTB classid problem
...is wrong.
in my config file
when I use
tc class add dev eth1 parent 1:11 classid 1:11016 htb rate 512kbit burst 10k
everything works correctly
but...when classid goes larger than 1:19999, eg:
tc class add dev eth1 parent 1:21 classid 1:21006 htb rate 256kbit burst 10k
it thows out "RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument"
I am using Fedora core 3 and what I am trying to do here is regulating each mac''s
packets attached under access point. so basiclly parent 1:21 stands for an access point, and 1:21xxx stands for one device id attached to it. origin...

Ubuntu, Revolutions, R
...last part, about this being the "enhanced" version of R was . . .
unexpected. I have heard of this company before and now I've spent some time
on their website. Looking at my installation, Ubuntu did not install any of
the REvolution Computing components, although R now basically thows a warning
every time I start it.
My question(s) for the community is this (pick any question(s) you like to
answer:
Should I install the REvolution Computing packages?
Do these packages really make R faster?
Are these packages stable?
What are your experiences...

icecast2 ogg vorbis client request headers
Well the code itself is what i took from tom peppers sc proxy script and
incorperated our own auth system for icecast2
i know i got it close with ogg and it seems to be when i tweak the
$str.=fread($sp,4096);
bit amount, i get different results, 4096 works fine for mp3 on icecast2 and
shoutcast, but im assuimg maybe there is more or less to read from
the ogg headers?? if so what would be the

Hosted printer drivers can not be used
Hai Christian,
Hm,, you tried that Universal driver and it did not work for you,. .. :-/
That worked fine for me, so its one to have a better look at.
I saw you used acl_xattr:ignore system acl also.
After you changed smb.conf, did you re-apply also the rights on the shares?
Try it in this order, first setup the share and correct the rights.
Then correct the rights on the file system,

update.packages and incorrect "Version" (PR#1022)
...ing message:
NAs introduced by coercion
The error comes from `newerVersion'. For me, the DESCRIPTION file of gee
contains:
Version: 4.13-3 (Gee version 98/1/27)
which after
b <- as.integer(strsplit(b, "[\\.-]")[[1]])
in `newerVersion' looks like "4 13 NA" and thows the error above.

Rsync Problems
I have gotten an Rsync daemon set up on my Linux server. But I want to
use my Windows XP computer to upload files to an Rsync module on the
server. The problem is, Rsync won't work on my Windows computer. I
have tried compiling various versions of Rsync in Cygwin, and nothing
works. It's not a firewall problem, because I have disabled my firewall
and tried to Rsync, and it still

Hosted printer drivers can not be used
Hai Marco,
In case of your setup. This is a design flaw, or nicer rephrased.. :-p
You missed a few things. ;-)
You need a few things more to make this work.
Expand the following branch in the Group Policy editor:
Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Windows Settings
-> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options,
where you need to find the policy Devices:

icecast2 ogg vorbis client request headers
I imagine something to the effect of (a completely untested and hack-ish
way to do it):
$count = 0;
while (!feof($sp)) {
$str = fread($sp,1);
if ($count == 0) {
if ($str == "\r") {
$count = 1;
continue;
}
}
if ($count == 1) {

upgrade 1.0.15 -> 2.1.7: MBOX index compatibility and performance
...u/%u
The 2.1.7 configuration files have been rewritten based on default
templates instead of converting it from 1.0.15.
The server has ~8000 mailboxes and about ~2000 simultaneous IMAP/POP
active connexions.
The problem is:
- indexes seem to be rebuilt: first IMAP/POP connexion for each user
thows lots of error messages in the log, and the global index size
decreases.
Example error log:
Nov 19 08:56:38 myhost dovecot: imap(myuser): Error: Cached message size
larger than expected (27884 > 27855)
Nov 19 08:56:38 myhost dovecot: imap(myuser): Error: Corrupted index
