Ok... what is 'sip show peers' really used for?
...pecially when Realtime is used. If I start Asterisk with realtime enabled, a 'sip show peers' yields none. As each peer (phone) registers, or a call is made to the peer, Asterisk adds them to the list returned by 'sip show peers'. Correct? Apparently Asterisk doesn't refer to thie list however, when deciding where a peer is located. It uses astdb instead (I have rtcachefriends=yes). I cleared the fullcontact field in the database, and placed a call. The only place that Asterisk could get the peer's IP address from was astdb, as the peer wasn't in 'sip show peers&...

If...while...or what else??
...stion I think, but I hope you can answer me... That is, I've got some problems in using the if and while conditions in a loop. Substantially, I want to select rows in a dataset depending on an index variable (suppose it ranges from 1 to 5), so to make a specific analysis (homemade of course) on thie new dataset. Mi first tought has been to do a double loop like this: for i in 1:5{ for j in (i+1):5{ data = dataset[(variable==i) | (variable==j),] ##analysis ##analysis } } This way I should select all the couples only once (gaining in efficiency I hope). The fact is that this arrangement has a...

Help with libiconv problem
A couple of my colleagues are having problems building R-3.2.4 on Mac OS X El Capitan somehow related to libiconv. I personally don't have any problems on either of my Macs. Time series (ts) questions.
...#39;+' that would simply append the value to the end of the time series (incrementing the 'las time value so thing like cycle() still output the correnct values) but alas t + 10 is already taken as an equally useful operation by adding 10 to each element in the time series (rather than in thie case, appending ts(10,frequency) with a time value of 13 to the time series). 2) How is the best way to get the last time value in a time series? I can do something like: (start(t)[2] - 1) + (end(t)[1]-1) * frequency(t) + end(t)[2] But there has to be an easier way. Thank you. Kevin

Security permissions issues after changing idmap backend from RID to AUTORID
.... The IDs from the old mappings are everywhere in the share file systems: Ownership and ACLs. Changing the mapping to a different mapping, this is what happens: - People lose access to their files since the permissions are for different IDs (that previously belonged to their name/sid). ==> Thie is the ACCESS DENIED you saw. - People may be granted access to files they should not have access to (files created by previous holders of their new ID). - If people create new files, they will be created by the new IDs, so a mix-up will start. You need to prevent that, so cut the network c...

Four concurrent Markov chains
...for this stage of my model it won't allow me to progress to the next stage. The next stage will be to make the animals move in reference to each other using a moving average variable. Therefore I think I need all animals simulated within one subroutine (loop).
