Application crushes
Hi all. Can any one please help me with my problem. I wrote an application for Android, using Teorarm. It crushes when I try to play the video file. Native application, compiled with the help of Android NDK 9r in Android Studio. Program stack: #0 theorapackB_readARM () at jni/theorarm/src/dec/bitwise2ARM.s:150 #1 0x673fae80 in oc_dec_headerin (_opb=0x6dca5278, _info=0x6dca52b0, _tc=0x6728ebd8, _setup=0x6728eedc, _op=0x6728ebb8) at jni/theorarm/src/dec/decinfo.c:171 #2 0x673fb160 in th_decode_headerin (_info=0x6dca52b0, _tc=0x6728ebd8, _setup=0x6728eedc, _op=0x6728ebb8) at j...

theorarm build
Hi all-- I tried building the ARM-optimized theora codec from the theorarm- merge-branch, and encountered the following compile and runtime problems before getting something to run. If there is another way to build it, it would be nice to know, but I got the sense that its current state in svn is incomplete. I'm using a gcc cross-compiler for ARM on an x86 Lin...

Compilation problem with theorarm
Hello all. I have got problem with compiling theorarm. I followed instructions posted earlier on this list (http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.multimedia.ogg.theora.devel/3066) but still got messages about undefined symbol: oc_frag_recon_inter2_arm. I have fixed Makefile.am by adding arm/ARMbitwise2.s \ arm/ARMdecode.s \ arm/ARMfilter.s \ arm...

[RFC] theorarm-merge-branch diff for latest svn
[Robin, sorry if you are receiving this for the third time, have subscribed to the list because previous attempt haven't hit the list] Hello, i took the liberty to port the theorarm-merge-branch to latest svn (used the git mirror actually). The changes already contains the fix Dave Milici posted to the list, plus it adds more fixes: - some warnings about unused variables in lib/arm/ARMstate.c - fixup of include path in lib/arm/*.s - more relaxed configure.ac check to match...

Theora player for Nokia Series 60
...phones like the Nokia 5800) they will appear in the middle of the screen. I'll try to get scaling put back in when I can get the performance good enough. I was going to ask if anyone had done any optimisation for ARM processors, but I've now spotted this project: http://wss.co.uk/pinknoise/theorarm So I'm going to take a look at that and see if I can get another optimised version out soon! Release notes: Only 4:2:0 encoded files with vorbis are supported. i.e. videos must have a vorbis audio stream (theora only won't play). Videos need to go on the memory card in a folder called Og...

Google Puts Weight Behind Theora
"... we need a baseline to work from - one standard format that (if all else fails) everything can fall back to. This doesn?t need to be the most complex format, or the most advertised format, or even the format with the most companies involved in its creation. All it needs to do is to be available, everywhere. The codec in the frame for this is Ogg Theora..." :)
