Basic Question on Keys/Values
...rammer, I'm having issue conceptualizing the following use
case:
Given an value, passed into a function, how do I pull out the lookup?
Ie.
A list of keys (key1, key2, key3)
A list of values (val1,val2,val3)
I want to write a function (or is there something built in?) such that
Callit <- (thekey) {
(magic happens here)
Return value
}
Any ideas?
Thanks a bunch!

Way to disable "#" as transfer and just take the key.
I am running into a problem where I have a menu and I want the
user to enter # when they are done. However doing so then asks
to transfer. How do I disable that.
Thanks,
Jerry

I'm gonna kill YUM (mailing list version ;-) )
Hi all.
Most of you already know about my problems (well, my computer's problems ;-)
), since we've been discussing on the forum. Hughesjr recommended me to post
here, so let's see, I have my faith on you.
I have a dedicated server with RH9 that I upgraded to CentOS 3.4 .
Everything ok, but after the first yum upgrade and reboot I get this when I
try to do a yum update:

Can't boot a kernel from usb drive
I have been trying to boot a kernel I compiled. I tried 2 different USB
thumb drives. I tried win32 syslinux 3.31 and 3.36 with no luck. I even
tried another known good kernel for testing purposes. After syslinux
starts I get "Invalid or corrupt kernel image" but I don't think it is
even really trying to run it. The last time I built a kernel about 1-1/2
years ago you could put a
