Another Samba and Mac OS 10.3 Question
...ll users
# inherit permissions = yes
# Option 2 Use the following two lines to make all new files editable by all
users
create mask = 0775
directory mask = 0775
# Option 3 Use the following 2 lines to get Mac users to be able to write to
directory as well as PC Users
# force user = theboss
# force group = staffwriters
I would prefer to use Option 2 or maybe Option 1 but they don't seem to work
with the Mac. Option 3 does give Mac Users read/write access, but there are
reasons why I don't want to use it.
Any ideas about getting the Macs to cooperate with Option 2 or 1?...

...decided to take an alternate approach to defining the

read only = No
write list = %U
guest ok = Yes
create mask = 0775
directory mask = 0775
So now, we have two listings for "Special Project Share A" -- one in the
user's smb.username.conf file, and one in the general smb.conf file.
The que...

How do I close it?
I have the STRAIGHT centos install sendmail.mc file.
Only thing I changed was:
dnl DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl
so as to allow incoming email and not just localhost. however this seems
to relay everyone.
I looked at http://www.sendmail.org/tips/relaying but it

Store common settings in one file?
Hi,
I''m looking for a way to store common settings, such as the
application_name or email address from value in a file.
I then want to be able to call these settings in my controllers and
models?
Is there any easy way of doing this? and where would you recommend I
save the file ?
Thanks
scott
