New bie Q
Hello All, I have a doubt regarding the fault tolerance of the rsync tool. What happens if the network goes down for some time and comes back after few seconds? Will rsync retry ? If yes, how many times/ how much time it will keep retrying ? How to ensure the completion of the rsync operation when there are network break ups? thanks for any help. -- Regards, Ravi.Thati -------------- next

Sweave file generation
Dear list,I have read really a lot the past few days, but I haven't found a matching solution for my problem.I have R 2.9.2 on Windows XP and MikTex 2.8 installed. What I want to do is to automate the sweave file generation.I thought I could use the R2Sweave, RweaveLatex, and Sweave in a combination so thatI won't need to do anything.Perhaps some minor modifications at the last step.My

Patches
As the freeze for Debian sarge slowly approaches I want to make sure the Dovecot packages are in as good condition as possible. I see there have been a number of patches since 0.99.10. I have added the following patches: * segfault when user home directory is empty * Proper PAM service name * Make suid work on 2.6 kernels Any other patches thatI ought to add. Or better yet, will there be a

Hi All, I have written script to download a directory from remote machine which contains the always the updated data. I want to download that directory onto my local machine periodically with --link-dest option to my old download directory. if function and apply
Runninn R.2.3.1 Windows XP I have a dataset just imported from SPSS. It has any number of 99's as missing data and it looks like the next dataset will have custom missing codes. I have abouat 120 variables and an N of 2000. "I think" thatI would like to apply a function to the data.frame (or to a matrix of the data if needed) to recode all the 99's to NA. I thought that I

[LLVMdev] Basic Block code sample
Hi, Example on how to iterate over CFG, take a look at DominanceFrontier.cpp. You can further implement easily a traverse graph algorithm. Why do you think this isn't secure? Gmail wouldn't let me run my own spam and AV solution. My external server gives me full control, with sendmail, MIMEDefang,

Asterisk and gtalk part 2
Hello everyone! So I've just scanned through the debug log, defined like this in logger.conf: full => notice, warning, error, debug, verbose I couldn't see any reason for the connection not working. I called my friend, he heard ringing, accepted the call and then it got hungup. I didn't see any output from app_jack though. Any idea, how I can get more output from app_jack?

first keep your mail on the list and only the list it makes me tired when people deliver denugging infos in pieces - what about "telnet host port" - what makes you sure that a low level connection even works and no firefwall or whatever device blocks the connection and as long that is not clear any other debugging is useless and i still don't get why in the world don't you

I think it's completely unrealistic to expect to be able to do this without driver changes. If you don't want to change clang,

Puzzling warning using 2.3.1...
Greetings folks: Stepped away from a win/lin dual boot system and spent the better part of the past week resetting a windows only arrangement. Before the switch I was running 2.3.1 without any strange behaviours. When I reached the point of putting it back on the machine I would get this puzzling warning the first time I would try to select a cran mirror: > chooseCRANmirror() Warning
