zero blocks and send some metainformation, to avoid encrypting and
transferring many GB of zeros.
I worked around the problem by adding -z to compress the stream first
(blocks of zeros compress remarkably well), and that made the virtual disk
image transfer go much faster. Of course, all of the .tgzs and .tbzs in
the same transfer got slower waiting on the source CPU to compress the
incompressible.
The obvious solution is to <music type=organ register=bass>change the
protocol</music>, but that seems like a scary thing to do for a

Asterisk without D-Channel possible?
Dear List,
I'm running an Asterisk 1.0 server with 4 HFC cards and bri-stuff behind an
"Anlagenanschlu?" with 8 B-channels in Germany. It worked fine with Deutsche
Telekom, but since we switched to Arcor nothing works at all.
After some debugging, I called Arcor helpdesk who told me that they do not
have a D-Channel and cannot signal one at my request either.
Is it possible to use

Macintosh support (again)
In order to compile the latest Vorbis library on the Macintosh, the
change appended to this message needs to be made to os_types.h.in.
Then, anyone who wants to actually build it must first copy
os_types.h.in to os_types.h by hand, since MacOS does not include a
command line and thus cannot run configure.
