ticks on persp plot?
Is it possible to get
- ticks
- tick labels (numeric value of each tick)
- axis labels (x, y, z)
on a persp plot? If so, please tell me how. If not, it would be nice to
be able to do it! (At a minimum the ticks; if nec I could do the rest by
hand with tgif after pstoediting the .ps file created by R)
I am using version 63.0. (Maybe I just need to upgrade)
Thanks very much for any help.
Bill Simpson
PS Is there an R .xpm icon?

WINS via WAN problem
Hi everyone.
I have two windows machines logging into my Linux machine via nxclient. One
via a LAN and the other coming in through the internet. Both are sharing
one printer and one folder. The one that is on the LAN I can smbclient -L
<host> and see, but not the one via WAN. The shared folder works on both
machines but the printer only works on the local. The shared printer via

GXP-2000 fw 1.0.1.13 and NTP
Hi all
Slightly OT but I know a lot of GS experts hang out here - I just upgraded a
GXP-2000 to firmware 1.0.1.13 to try out the BLF functionality with Asterisk
(which so far works as expected), but as a side-effect the phone won't sync
with an NTP server - I've tried different server names (time.nist.gov and
pool.ntp.org) and IPs in the config, but it refuses to update the time on

Fruanhofer patents and royalties for Streaming
Everyone involved in the Vorbis project should get their A into G and
get streaming worked out before the 1st of Jan, so that when Fruanhofer
start cracking down on streaming MP3, there's a good, workable
alternative to switch to :)
This includes the plugins and such

Re: Xen died - Fedora upgrade from 21 to 26
Jim,
Thanks for that, I had manually installed
libvirt-daemon-driver-xen, but also needed to install
libvirt-daemon-driver-libxl. I can now create VMs and convert config
formats.
However the daemon still fails to start on bootup. It starts fine when I
manually start it with "systemctl start libvirtd" but setting it to
autostart with "systemctl enable libvirtd" seems

Xen died - Fedora upgrade from 21 to 26
Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my Xen host (Dom0) and are having troubles
getting it to work.
I think that it has booted into a kernel that supports Xen (running 'xl
info' does list some Xen capabilities), but I have three problems (that
I have found so far).
Firstly, the "libvirtd" daemon doesn't start on bootup (and as a result
all 'virsh' commands fail). It

xfig device
Hi, I am VERY interested in getting the xfig driver so that I can edit
graphical output from R. Searching through the mail archives and reading
documentation isn't helping. Is there or isn't there a working driver for
this purpose. How can I get it? I tried looking at the development version
of the tarballs, but I didn't find anything that looked promising in there.
Also, does

JDataFrame API
Hi Simon,
Thanks for your feedback. -- this is an observation that I wasn't
considering when I wrote this mainly because I am, in fact, working
with rather small data sets. BTW: There is code there, it's under the
bitbucket link -- here's the direct link if you'd still like to look
at it:
