pxelinux problem
...tftpd[595]: providence: read request for //pxelinux.cfg/C0A80101: success
Note that it's not trying to load the kernel image at all. It did
occur to me that this might be one of the tftpd-related problems
mentioned in the docs, but unfortunately, the docs are extremely thin
on what non-Linux tftpds _do_ work correctly (presumably because you
don't know). Since my boot server runs FreeBSD, I'm afraid I can't
use either of the options the docs mention as being known to work
correctly. My choices appear to be yale-tftpd-3.0 (the one I'm using
now) and utftpd-0.2.4. The man pag...

Victor, could you try Suslinux 6.02-pre14? I see you're already in the
latest VirtualBox. What NIC type? Does the guest OS hint influence this?
Does anyone else with VirtualBox use multiple tftpds (or could quickly
test) to say if there's a known functioning version of VirtualBox?

TFTP Serer ????
G'Day All,
Can someone help me out please. My new CISCO 7960's manual says I have
to setup a TFTP server. Googled it and got a little understanding, but
from * standpoint, well I am still a lost.
Can I set this tftp server on the same * box? Can in be on a WinXP box?
Which tftp software would you recommend?
Thanks much.
BTY: Does anyone have a How-To on getting the 7960 fully configured

PXELINUX: how to debug initrd corruption?
Hi All,
I have a system, that, ~80% of the time, fails to properly boot using
pxelinux.0 as provided by RHEL 5.5 (syslinux 3.11, I think). The
gripe, before the console messages stop, is a message that comes from
the linux kernel complaining the compressed ram drive image is bad:
"invalid compressed format (err=[small number])".
I have two questions:
1. How should I go about
