out of curiosity I tested to deliver into a shared folder of another
owner using Sieve. (Not that I intend to do so, but well ... )

a way to migrate pasword from Samba 4.0 AD DC to new AD DC?
...ee is 'unicodePwd'
attribute, and it is maybe possible write to new system using ldbmodify
- but it is right and simplest solution?
And one more question - why don't I get any result from the command
(on 4.20 AD DC, provisioned with --plaintext-secrets):
# samba-tool user getpassword testusr --attributes=unicodePwd,virtualClearTextUTF16,virtualClearTextUTF8
on: CN=testusr,OU=users,DC=ad,DC=my,DC=home
unicodePwd:: CkODmLSx+ZaJO/qHDQibNw==

Why are the virtualClearTextUTF16 and virtualClearTextUTF8 values ??
missing and how do I make them exist?

has to be encoded in a precise way and written over SSL.

Dovecot v1.2 share user Maildir problems with %%h
...in the conf and the default permission is 0600.
For deliver I changed the socket attr to permission 0660 and group=mail;
for making %%h work I added mail_access_groups=mail
c) The user's mailbox is not found still, because:

winbindd: socket dir
...inbindd: socket dir" in smb.conf to allow multiple winbindd instances to run but can't seem to find any doco on this feature.
I have tried adding this to my smb.conf file but when I try to use ntlm_auth with this configuration any authentication fails and it returns:
ntlm_auth --username=testusr

could not obtain winbind domain name!
I know the rest of my config is correct as without winbindd: socket dir specified, authentication is successful.
