I've had the chance to use a testsystem here and couldn't resist running a few benchmark programs on them: bonnie++, tiobench, dbench and a few generic ones (cp/rm/tar/etc...) on ext{234}, btrfs, jfs, ufs, xfs, zfs. Reviewing some mailing list archives and the wiki, I still don't have a real clear picture of why I'd want to use mdbox. What I've taken from the info I've reviewed says mdbox is more complicated (than sdbox), has greater potential for breakage (simply because it's more complex), and has a theoretical performance impact depending on the exact filesystem/hardware used.

Now I was wondering what the advantages / disadvantages of using a Wildcard TDM400P solution over using real sip phones like the snoms is? The only thing I came up with is that the Snoms can use a LDAP adressbook on the server. What about calling a sip adress like person@server.com. Can this be done by
