I doubt that - we have:
source3/script/tests/test_dfree_command.sh
in the tree, so it's tested on every commit.
You may need to dig into the source code to
figure out what is wrong on your system.

Use debug level 10 and log statements in your script to ensure
it's being invoked and returning values.
Without knowing details this is impossible to debug.
