- SORT command always replied with NO
- Locking fixes. Fixes several crashes, dotlock errors and deadlock
errors
- When multiple sessions were concurrently modifying mailbox it often
mixed up the messages that were supposed to be modified. When expunging
it also gave errors such as:

heap error while trying to run TrueSync Dekstop
...has PREV_FREE flag
wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger...
The loading screen "TrueSync Desktop" is shown, but it doesn't go any
further.
I'm using wine-20031016 (compiled with the -npt1 option), and a debian
distro with a custom kernel compiled with 2,6,0-test9.
Most windows app. I tested ran without problem. Please note that I
tried Wine for only a few days, so I'm quite a newbie on the matter.
Do you have any idea on how to fix this? Thank you for your help,

Remote port forwarding problems
I've been trying to get remote port forwarding to work between redhat
6.2 boxes
using openssh 2.2.0p1. One box is running the stock kernel, the other
is running
2.4.0-test9 currently.
The command I type is:
ssh -v -R 8080:localhost:8080 <remote machine>
I've also used the machine name and ip address for the local machine.
The -v shows these curious messages:
debug: read DSA private key done
debug: sig size 20 20

[PATCH] Ensure blktap reports I/O errors back to guest
...s2 member
Now this seems fine at first glance[1]
"res is the usual result of an I/O operation: the number of bytes
transfered, or a negative error code. res2 is a second status
value which will be returned to the user"
Except that
"currently (2.6.0-test9), callers of aio_complete() within the
kernel always set res2 to zero."
And this hasn''t changed anytime since 2.6.0, so by passing through
the status from ''res2'', the callback thinks the I/O operation succeeded
even when it failed :-(
The fix is...

[Bridge] Problem Bridging VLANs
...am (therefore?) encountering
problems trying to setup a simple bridge/firewall between two vlans
sharing portions of the same subnet, x.y.z.0/24. The VLANs are created

Segfault in 2.2.0p1 due to connect() changes in Linux 2.4
Hello,
I upgraded (?) one of my machines to Linux kernel 2.4.0-test9, and sshd
started failing. Specifically, the sshd child processes would segfault if
a user requested X11 forwarding. I tracked the problem down to these bits
of code:
channels.c, x11_create_display_inet, line 1738:
sock = socket(ai->ai_family, SOCK_STREAM, 0);
if (sock < 0) {

seems to suggest that ext3 should not be used with 2.6 kernels for audio
work. Why is this, and is there likely to be any improvement?

Question about iptables and maximum file size
Hi,
I would like to know if there is any possibility to select from iptables the
files with maximum size of 300 kbytes and send them to a proxy server.
As I know until now you can only mark files with maximum size of 64 kbytes.
thank you in advance,
Codrin.
