windbind locks out domain account
...am_winbind(sshd): request failed: Account locked out, PAM error was Have exhasted maximum number of retries for service. (11), NT error was NT_STATUS_ACCOUNT_LOCKED_OUT
Anyone seen anything like this before? I just type in my password once, and whammmo, account
locked out! ;-)

Are SSD disks worth the cost for server usage?
Hi,
we want to upgrade our infrastructure and are considering renting two
different types of server by a provider:
- A: one is with 80 GB SSD (and 12 GB memory)

- B: the other with 750 GB SATA2 (and 8 GB memory).

The target infrastructure will host:
- a few public web sites (PHP / MySQL)

nested groups not working with sudo and winbind
...t part it working. Also, when I run
and "id" it shows the proper groups. It's just seems sudo won't
recognize the nested groups :-(
Anyone run into this issue before? It's gonna be an admin nightmare
just to populate UnixAdmins with individual accounts ..

3.0.28a to 3.0.30 issues - pam_winbind_request: write to socket failed
Hello all,
I did a fresh compile of 3.0.30, deploy'd it to a couple of servers, and then would
get the following errors in my logs:
pam_winbind(sshd): pam_winbind_request: write to socket failed!
This would happen about 5 minutes after restarted smbd, nmbd, and winbindd. For the
1st 5 minutes every seems to work fine, then after that I can't login with my AD
credentials anymore. After
