As I have virtual users from several virtual domains, I added the "virtual users - with lookup" section from http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA, but now dovecot fails

Hi Rowland, Thanks for the suggestion. So far, since adding 'ntlm auth' to smb.conf on the DCs we are no longer having this problem.
