Hi All, I am using samba Version 3.5.4 on AIX 6.1. The installation is through pware binary ( pware53.samba.rte 3.5.4.0). There seems to be a strange issue with NetBios where it terminates with the following error logged just after starting. The diagnosis fails in step 4 of Samba Diagnosis test ("nmblookup -B BIGSERVER __SAMBA_") because no netbios (nmbd) is running. snippet from

...he CDR today and I may have stumbled across a very serious problem, specifically where there is billing taking place.. If a call is placed between 2 phones and the network connection is broken from both the phones with out hanging up first the call is never logged to the CDR and it seems never termintaed.. It would appear that Asterisk relys on recieving the SIP signals to tell it that the call has terminated and so if it does not get that data it will never release the call, there does not appear to be any call progress checking that could terminate the call if the end points could no longer b...

Just curious: has anyone seen or heard about a USB-based T1/E1 interface device? I've seen some serious T1/E1 testing equipment that is USB-based, but I was wondering if there was something more generic, like a Zaptel-ish T1/E1 that used USB instead of PCI/PCIx.
