Got SIP response 302 "Moved temporarely"
Hi all
Hmm, often when my Asterisk tryes to register, it get's the answer back:
Got SIP response 302 "Moved temporarely" (and an IP).
But it looks like it's not respecting this redirection and tryes again and
again to register to the server configured in sip.conf instead of the one the
SIP provider tryes to redirect to.
Any known issues?

302 Moved temporarely
Does Asterisk supports 302 SIP message - "Moved temporarely"?
I have found mail from Olle E. Johansson (April 2006) that Asterisk
doesn't support redirects of registrations. Does it support now?

SIP redirect
Hi,
is it possible to let asterisk issue a SIP redirect?
A SIP invite command by a SIP client should be answered
by 30X Temporarly moved to SIP/....
Is this possible with asterisk, maybe from within the dialplan?
(reinvite is not what I'm looking for, because it does not
completely release the originally called SIP server, e.g. if
reinvite fails, ...)

cv.glm {boot}
I am try to cross validate some logistic regressions. cv.glm allows me to do this randomly but since I have data over a number of years and over a number of distince areas, I would like to cross-validate temporarly and spatially. I've already attached the temporal and spatial attributes to my data, but I'm unsure as to how to achieve this, as it seems I can't use cv.glm for this purpose.
Thanks in advance.

Winbind, cached logons and 'user persistency'...
...SMTP server is a DM, configured with winbind and cached/offline
logons. SMTP server use 'nss' as final delivery rules (eg, user that
exist in NSS are delivered).
After some minutes i've reconnected and powered up the new switch, and
all come back as usual.
So seems that disconnecting temporarly the DM from the DCs, lead to
'user not found' error, like as users ''desappear'' from NSS.
In winbind logs nothing get printed.
Why?!

Re: libguestfs-tools failure that I can't figure out
I'm not sure of the history of the server's libpcap install. Too many
chefs and only one pot. I know, that doesn't help. Your question did
prompt me to check versions and discover that there's a 1.9.0 version in
the BaseOS repo. I removed the previous package and loaded the new one.

Re: difficulty using virt-v2v with OVA

from a snippet of the output:
| virt-v2v: warning: making OVA directory public readable to work around
| libvirt bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1045069
but it doesn't always work. The ways to overcome this problem are
1) run virt-v2v as non-root
2) temporarly export LIBGUESTFS_BACKEND=direct for that virt-v2v

Re: libguestfs-tools failure that I can't figure out
...his is... bad: a package that:
- installs a library in /usr/local
- may override a system-critical library
- even RPM-provides the system library (!)
This is a scholar example of things that can go wrong when packaging
local stuff :-/
Do you still have that package installed? Can you please try by
temporarly removing it?
