IP PAX gateway to PSTN
Hi,
If I setup an IP PAX gateway to handle VoIP calls to a traditional phone
line, I am wondering how each VoIP call to the PSTN connection get
charged by a local Telecom.

Hardware Requirement for Asterisk PBX
Hello All,
I am newbie to Asterisk IP PBX Community. We are planning to use
Asterisk IP PBX at our university campus. I would like to know
what's the ideal hardware requirements for setting up Asterisk.
At present we have 12000 analog telphone lines, so goal is to use
IP telephony on campus in future.

tuning an x100p in Australia for echo cancellation
I have an x100p which suffers from echo (no surprise there apparantly
:), and a few of the things I've read about tuning out echo say the
first thing to get right is the tx and rx gain, and for that you need a
few different types of test lines from the telco (Telstra, Optus,
whatever). Does anyone have any numbers in Australia for such lines? I
think they just need to send out a tone of a

"Unable to find path from G729A to ULAW" on Sipphone.com
I seem to be having a problem with transcoding and/or agreeing on a
valid codec. I am running a new image pulled from CVS at 1:30 PM CST.
The issue occurs when I try to make a call to a toll-free number over
sipphone.com.
Here's what I see in the console:
