IAXTel and Telesthetic
I'm trying to run some inbound test to my Asterisk box using Telesthetic's gateway in MI to my GNU/IAXtel account.
Am I missing something? I set up my user account on the GNUPhonne site, configured Asterisk to talk to IAXTel. * registers fine. In fact I can make calls to other test users. I haven't tried having someone call my number.

IAXTEL Inbound, and Outbound Tollfree Changes
Last night Mark and I made some changes to the IAXTEL tollfree outbound,
and inbound access.
The inbound access number has changed to: 248-724-0700.
(This number is in Pontiac, MI Ratecenter, and is supplied by
Telesthetic LLC, a next gen phone compnay)
This number will say "Please dial your number now" at that point
you can dial your 1-700-XXX-XXXX IAXTEL number assigned.
In the future the same number will allow you dial Jeff Pulver's
FWD numbers.
Outbound Tollfree calls are also processed by the s...

Subject: NuFone Update: DIDs
Effective 3pm EST Today, April 18th, 2006 Telesthetic, the carrier
supporting the Toll-Free
and Michigan DID operations of NuFone, has threatened to terminate our
services. We were
only informed of such decisions on Thursday Afternoon, April 13th, 2006,
which as anyone
knows is abolutely not enough time to solve the complex matters at hand.

Correction to my original post:
My service has not been interrupted, as far as I know, and probably
won't
be. But, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have another provider in
case
Telesthetic does decide to cut NuFone off. (Although an agreement
supposedly
has been reached.)
NuFone is still one of the best providers I've used so far, with great
support (and prices).
(And my toll-free service hasn't been interrupted either).

IaxTel seems down
Is anyone other than me having trouble dialing out via IAXTEL? I havn't
changed my config files in weeks but seems that IAXTel calls (800 and FWD)
stopped working in the past week sometime.

Definitive CallerID Format and anonymous?
All,
I use various IAX providers to terminate my outbound calls. I set the
caller-ID to one of several DIDs, based on the called number. There
doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what the called user sees,
however.
Calls to most cell-phones show *exactly* the number I submit.
Calls to land-lines sometimes show, other times not.
Calls to other voip-providers most often show, but
