Install problems with RedHat 7.0 RPM for 2.2.0
I just went through upgrading from 2.0.7 on Redhat 7.0 using the binary RPM provided by samba.org and noticed a problem with the swat install. It seems that the swat binary in the RPM is built to look for it's supporting files in /usr/share/samba/swat whereas the RPM installs said files in /usr/share/swat. This results in the following error message when you try to access swat: 400 Server

Grandstream RS-232 config (slightly off-topic)
I realize this may be slightly off-topic but I'm wondering if someone here can lend me a hand. One of my GXW4008 has gone "unconfigurable" via standard HTTP (refuses connection) and I can't use the built-in IVR because I had previously disabled the "keypad update" feature. So I'm stuck with just telnet, the reset button and RS-232. Telnet commands are very limited

Eventually the telnet session would time out, or I could just manually enter the command to disconnect, not really a huge issue. I have SSH disabled on these hosts and only access them via the console because they are quite s...

PAM conversation stuff
Okay, I'm confused again. They way you guys are talking about the conversation routine, it would seem that you think it is a way to fetch something from the user - like a new password. Is this possible? Does calling pam_chauthtok() cause the underlying pam_sm_chauthtok() eventually print something on stdout and read a new password from stdin (the socket to the client) using the conversation
