If it is a Seagate, don't bother. They have the highest failure rate in
the industry.

The reason I'm reusing a disk is not because of hardware failures,
but rather because I've abandoned a particular use for that disk,
maybe changed operating systems, maybe tried something using ZFS and
want to change to some other techonology. I know that the best way
to reclaim a disk after read-failures is to wipe it with zeros, and
this takes days.
And by the way, I typically use only WD disks, not seagate.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Dialing PIN from console
...like to place the call from the CLI and have it record
automatically.
The problem I'm having is that once the call is connected, I need to dial a
PIN number to connect to the conference.
I've tried setting up an extenion that does something like
exten => 1,1,Dial(<number>/<techonology>|30)
exten => 1,2,Wait(8)
exten => 1,3,SendDTMF(1235)
but apparently Dial does not return until the call terminates.
I also thought about dialing from the command line
asterisk -r -x "Dial <number>@context"
sleep(8)
and then doing something like "play -d /dev/dsp...

can CentOS act as an iSCSI server?
Hi all,
I would like to know if I could share some space on on of my servers,
to another server(s) using the iSCSI protocal? I can see that CentOS
can connect to an iSCSI server, but can it act as a iSCSI server?
Is so, does anyone have some good HOWTO / tutorials / docs on how to set it up?
I'm running CentOS 5.2
