...List, I need to change my provider, at this time Asterisk box is on VOIP trunk. I have two options, T1 or 15 analog lines. I have some experience with analog and I have had two main issues with it. first is echo (I have not tried HPEC yet) and second unpredictable volume. The question is, if I use TE100 with PRI , will I have same issues? ...ialout from ISDN modem to outside number through Asterisk? I've got an server with an Asterisk and the following cards: 1. TE110 -- to telco 2. TE400P with one FXS to analog phone 3. Two HFC-S based cards in NT mode I'd like to connect ISDN modem to one HFC-S card and allow dialout through TE100 to some external number (being more precisely, to some dumb bank which got only homebanking and no Internet banking). ...the other end of a phone call while they are talking. I haven't been able to find anywhere in the MEC2 source to limit when it mutes the remote party. It seems to do it with just the slightest bit of sound coming from the room. Hi, today a customer asked how to use asterisk with 12 to 16 FXO ports. I can use a channel bank with 16 FXO ports and connect the channel bank with a T1 cable to a T1 card in the Asterisk Server. Asterisk will then send the calls to the Voip provider over the internet. However a 16 fxo port channel bank is about USD 1500 + a t1 card USD 500 + a USD 1000 computer = 3 thousand us dollars + my
