[Bug 8829] New: rsync -uav --delete --dry-run prints delete file list in reverse order
...st (especially when --dry-run is given). Example, currently rsync behaves like this: rsync --delete -uavn ../dir1 desthost:~/dir2 dir1/ deleting dir2/file-z ... deleting dir2/file-a dir1/ file-a ... file-z For long lists, that is very awkward. Real world example: 13:50 alchemy:~/tde/pbf> rsync --delete -uavn ../pbf nirvana:~/tde sending incremental file list pbf/ deleting pbf/ts.txt deleting pbf/pkgbld-notes.txt deleting pbf/PKGBUILD-trinity-twindeco-crystal deleting pbf/PKGBUILD-trinity-tqtinterface deleting pbf/PKGBUILD-trinity-tqt3 deleting pbf/PKGBUILD-trinity-template-...

Wrong behaviour in policy routing
.... Those rules, as they are of the nat/POSTROUTING chain, can match only when the state is NEW (i.e. for tcp connections). And my problems appear when the connections are already set. Panasonic x Asterisk if I can emulate Panasonic fast!
Im a 3-days-asterisk-newbie. In 3 weeks, I must have a PBX installed in a new office of ours: Panasonic or Asterisk. Asterisk would be, if I can emulate some Panasonic functions on Asterisk fast, to convince the executives. What I have done until now: Bought 1 Linksys pap2 (2 FXS), 1 Linksys SPA3102 (1 FXS + 1 FXO) for making asterisk tests. Configured Asterisk/Fedora 9 so I can make SIP->PSTN

Latest version of kate editor
I have installed the kate editor on Centos 6.7 but it seems to be a very old version, 3.3.4, installed as part of kdesdk. On Centos 7 I can simply run 'yum install kate' but, alas, not on Centos 6. What is the recommended way of updating kate on Centos 6? Thank you.

..., and I know that.... so I now use GNOME, even though it would be nice to see parity in the allowing of a rebase of KDE like the one for GNOME. </rant> > There is a 3rd-party repository that might have an upgraded KDE: > http://www.trinitydesktop.org/about.php > Trinity Desktop (TDE), is a fork of KDE 3.x, and not updated from that. Just need to vent
...either really easy or nearly impossible to do, with very little in the middle that are just a bit hard to do when it comes to desktop customization, but, you know, I've not been one to make things too custom. But as far as I'm concerned the Trinity DE is where I'm most comfortable (TDE being, of course, a continuation of KDE 3.x). Yes, there are some packages I can install, but it hasn't been a major deal for me to make it 'just like what I'm used to.' But no environment is perfect; I've used fvwm, lxde, xfce, cde, Apollo DomainOS pads, the UnixPC Office...

wine and jack => segfault?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I am new to this list and just wanted to ask a question regarding Wine and JACK: I'm running JACK as my sound daemon and today I installed Wine (from the APT-Repository). I setup my .wine directory with the help of winetools. So far everything works fine, except sound output (tested with wmplayer and a simple wav file). So I selected

Q's about switching from sendmail to postfix
Running CentOS 4.2 with all updates. I've been using sendmail for my MTA since forever. I've grown used to it and I can make it do what I want it to. However (there's always a catch, isn't there)... Lately it seems that some mail is being lost. I've noticed some instances when a message was sent to myself and others which I will only see if someone replies back to
